Here’s a compilation of all my plates so far for our Fashion Sketching Class 2nd Term 2011. This term is currently about Color Rendering since last term was about figure sketching. We’re starting from the basics so excuse my mediocre plates since I’m still adapting to these techniques.

PLATE 01: Solid Color Rendering, One Piece Swimwear, Watercolor

Im still struggling on drawing the face, especially in getting the eyes part right. Im glad this and the next plate was displayed since it got a grade of 90+ up.

PLATE 05: Rendering Matte Texture, Colored Pencils, Markers

For this plate we had to render feathers, chiffon, iridescent,wool, weaved materials and fringe. This was a bit of a challenge to do. The next plate are the originals I did, but I had to redo my plate to include more of these textures. Anyhow, I still like these so Im posting them.
