Definitely Excited for today, Mom & Elle were flying here today. We had MERCATO for our late breakfast, and as usual, MOCHIKO is the first place I run to. That was followed by a whole bunch of other goodies. I also found Baked by Anita Cupcakes to be such a marvelous treat.

We took a break from all the heavy eating, Elle and I took the time to move around Forever 21, Makati. We bought a bunch, and we certainly have no right to complain of having nothing to wear for the next month. Ayala/Makati area is my comfort zone, especially Glorietta & Greenbelt area; how can I get tired of it?

We had lunch at CIBO, definitely a lighter serving. I had this toasted bread topped with fresh tomatoes, olive oil, parmesan cheese and herbs; it was too delicious. CIBO has the best Panna Cotta by the way, it was too delish. The pizza looked so simple, but the flavors were overpowering. Yum. You can never go wrong with Italian.

We spent the rest of the evening at Rockwell. Christmas lights and decorations were all over the place this time. I can’t help but remember last year’s season in this same place. It’s very nostalgic. Anyway, Pepper Lunch was our choice for dinner, but it was so full, we chose to dine at DULCINEA instead and enjoy home-style dishes. I ordered Gambas, my favorite, and Dulcinea just served the best Gamabas I have ever tasted. You can never go wrong with ordering their famous Churos with the hot chocolate dip, it’s a must try.
